Despite on and off drizzle, the Botanical Gardne was at its best. The rain washed all the leaves clean and gave a bit of shine to all the plants.
Outdoor plantings are complemented by the indoor collection of bromeliads, orchids, and butterflies. We also saw the weirdest
mushroom I’ve ever seen. It grows a little lace dress for itself. Very strange indeed. They probably came out during the rain.
We love botanical gardens too, but even more the arboretums, more space and more air 🙂 Fantastic was aceretum in Dutch Boskoop.

Rainy days are often the best to visit Botanical Gardens. We had the same type of weather while visiting the Hobart Botanical Gardens and the plants were just exquisite. Lovely pictures. (Suzanne)
